Cancun!

Did that get your attention? If not, you've been studying too hard, so take a break and read about the great opportunities for students at our 2004 International Conference and Exhibition in Cancun, Oct. 24-27.

* Volunteer!

During the conference, we need students to work in Registration, the Oral Session rooms, the Speaker Service Center, at the Poster Assistance Desk, and lots of other areas. As a volunteer, you receive many benefits: a refund of your paid registration fee, the same briefcase and materials as the professional delegates, access to the Icebreaker Reception, Opening Session, Oral and Poster Sessions, and the Exhibition, not to mention an invitation to the Student Reception...read on...

* Student Reception

All students (whether you volunteer or not) and academic faculty are invited to the Student Reception on the Lagoon Beach at the Camino Real hotel. Cash and a certificate will be awarded to the best student poster as you mingle with conference VIPs and enjoy beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks.

For more information about volunteering, contact Kim Van Delft in the AAPG Convention Dept. at 1 918 560 2619 or Volunteer for the international meeting..

Where else can you work and play at the same time?
