In exchange for one full day of volunteer service at the conference, each will receive:
- $25 for each full day worked
- Conference bag, Program Book and CD of Abstracts
- Lunch voucher for those working shifts six hours or longer on any given day
- Refund of registration fee at the conference for at least half-day of service
Opportunities exist in the Speaker Service Center, at the Welcome Desk/Message Center, in Registration and much more. Gather up your friends and be a part of the action — it’s a great networking opportunity!

Student Reception
All registered students and academic faculty attending the AAPG International Conference and Exhibition are invited to attend the Student Reception sponsored by ExxonMobil. An ExxonMobil representative as well as AAPG and AMGP representatives will be present to greet those attending. This is a great chance to join AAPG and learn about membership benefits and benefits of the Student Chapter program.
The top poster will be recognized with the Sungurlu Memorial Award for the Best International Student Poster along with a certificate and monetary award.
So come and enjoy beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks, as you mingle with conference VIPs.
